SSI Shredding Systems, Inc. of Wilsonville, Oregon has recently introduced a new addition to its PRI-MAX line of Primary Reducers. The new PR-590SD, unveiled at Waste Expo in Dallas, is a 9' long version of SSI's popular PR-560SD single-shaft primary reducer. The new, longer length allows more efficient feeding of items such as railroad ties, dimensional lumber, and paper cores. Its larger process area also reduces bridging of large, flat objects like plywood. The PR-590SD is a small, cost-effective unit ideal for on-site processing of nearly any mixed waste material - from 5 to 20 tons per hour.
The only true "multi-material primary reducer", SSI's PRI-MAX line is suitable for densifying construction and demolition debris, furniture, appliances, carpet, mattresses, bulky scrap metal, yard debris, stumps and wood waste with metal contamination.
And with processing rates from 1-150 tons per hour, SSI's PRI-MAX product line represents the most comprehensive range of multi-material reducers in the world.
