April 2007 - Torpedo The Challenges Shredding a torpedo isn't easy. The construction of a torpedo is complex and extremely tough. The torpedo’s outer shell is incredibly thick and the inside is constructed with all types of materials including some heavy-duty control and navigation components. Destroying them requires a very strong, very high torque shredder. The Solution SSI's Dual-Shear™ model M100 with "double-stacked" cutters was an ideal shredder to render the torpedo unrecognizable.
