July 2009 - Dog House
The Challenges This is a typical bulky waste problem. Many large, "bulky" objects need to be broken down to a more manageable size for transportation, less room in our landfills, and ultimately, recycling. The Solution SSI's PRI-MAX™ PR-770 was used in this particular application. The PR-770 is breaking the barriers of shredding and redefining what's a "non-shreddable". The unique, load-sensing 'open loop' hydraulic drive automatically slows down on heavier materials, delivering full torque for 'punch-through' power. When sensing a lighter load, the shafts automatically revert back to 40RPM, delivering maximum capacity.
