They are adding more steel, more fiber and sometimes other engineered materials to accomplish these goals. This is great for you and I as the consumer, but, it’s not so great when you’re in the business of trying to destroy something that’s designed to be indestructible. On top of this, competition among tire processing companies is increasingly difficult. Processors are looking for a break.
